Description

SIO-2 PLUS® is a natural, soft, flexible, modelling clay, that is ideal for working with children. It is odourless, ready for use, environmentally friendly and contains natural ingredients. SIO-2 PLUS® dries in the air and gets extremly hard, can be painted after drying. Not waterproof.
It can be dried in the air (approx. 2 - 5 days according to thickness), or it can be baked in a baking oven at approx. 100 ° to 110 ° C. (Only dry the clay in the oven after air drying! Drying time in the oven 1 - 2 hours depending on the size.) After drying, the SIO-2 PLUS® can be further processed or painted. It is excellent suitable for children from 3 years.
The SIO-2 PLUS® terracotta is suitable for the kiln up to 1000 ° C. Due to the ceramic shrinkage, the size of the workpiece is considerably reduced. During firing, the clay SIO-2 PLUS® emits smoke. The smoke has an unpleasant smell and is released from 130 ° C. It is recommended to ventilate well.
